Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Suzanne.

I grew up in an idyllic college town in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, surrounded by farms and forests,

I am very fortunate that I was able to study art in Philadelphia, at Moore College of Art, and in Paris, France. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Penn State, and a Master of Arts in art therapy from The George Washington University.

Most of my adult life was spent in Washington, DC, surrounded by the energy of the city, before trading it in for the rolling hills of rural Arkansas wine country. Now, I share my home with my partner, Bill, and our pack of rescue dogs.

My work is shaped by a love for storytelling, light, color, texture, and the connection between images and emotion.

Whether through watercolors, acrylics, or something entirely unexpected, I believe art should be approachable, a little playful, and always personal.
